An Israeli company wants to participate in large-scale infrastructure projects in Ukraine

First Deputy Head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine Kirill Bondar held a business meeting with a representative of the Ashtrom Сoncern Alexander Kolodizner in which the details of the possible participation of Israeli company in the Ukrainian projects realisation were discussed. Ashtrom specialises in building and reconstruction of large-scale infrastructure projects, in particular plants such as Israbeton, Ashbond, Itumit and others in Israel.
The company is interested in realisation of the large-scale infrastructure projects in Ukraine, A. Kolodizner said. He noted that Ashtrom is ready to consider specific proposals as well as provide financial support to the projects.
Mr. Bondar presented Air Express and Kyiv City Ring Road national projects. Mr. Kolodizner was particularly interested in the latter project, which is to be implemented on a concession basis.
According to K. Bondar all necessary documentation for the Kyiv City Ring Road Project was elaborated as well as last year the Agreement for preparing the concession tender between the International Financial Corporation (IFC) and the Project was signed. However, as the First Deputy Head of the Agency noted, all expectations concerning the further implementation of the Project depend on the Government's decision. The parties have agreed to support further business relations within Kyiv City Ring Road concession project.
