Growth in Kiev Construction despite the crisis

The most recent numbers of residential construction in Kiev finally showed some growth despite the crisis in the country.  In the first half of this year  450.1 thousand square meters of residential property were taken into operation in the capital of Ukraine. This figure is 15% higher than the same period in 2014. Among the areas the leading district is Goloseevskiy (94.6 thousand sq.m), and weakest numbers of construction are in the area Desnyanskiy district  - only 0.5 thousand sq.m..
Interesting fact is that most of the construction was paid by private investors and the state money was accounted only for 2.1 thousand sq.m. during the last half year.
In the construction of cottages figures are quite stable, but compared with the first half of 2014 fell by 26.7%. The total sq.m. of cottages, which were taken into operation in 2015 is 13 thousand .
